Modern Leadership Playbook for

Chiefs of Staff webinar

If you and your leadership team aren't active on LinkedIn and discoverable by AI, it's a revenue risk. 94% of buyers now use AI to research a company before they ever speak to someone there. 77% prefer companies with an active executive social presence.

Wednesday, 19 August at 1:00 PM BST, I'm running a free session on exactly what this shift means for the Chief of Staff role, and what to do about it before it costs you and your leadership team.

The modern leadership playbook has changed. I wrapped into my Chief of You® programme with all my 21 years of experience across PwC & LinkedIn.

Here's what you'll walk away able to do:

→ Understand the shift in buyer behaviour, and know what it means for your role specifically, not just marketing's

→ Turn one thing you did for your CEO or principal this quarter into a result they'd repeat publicly, not just something you reported internally

→ Test your own visibility with a two-minute score, so you know before the session whether you're already findable or still your company's best kept secret.

→ Walk away with language for the microphone test, what you'd say if someone put a mic in front of you and asked what you actually do

→ Know the difference between building a personal brand and building career insurance, and why only one of them matters here

What it isn't:

Forget the "personal brand" angle. We're not here to look good. Though it might result in positioning you for collaborations, speaking engagements and people mentioning enjoying working with you.

Nor are we here to turn LinkedIn into the latest sales funnel. Though that may become the side effect as your personality and insights make people want to work with you, alongside your whole leadership team and your employees may become brand ambassadors.

Don't expect handy AI prompts, we're here for the strategic positioning as a revenue driver.

We'll unpack the math, and what specifically this means for the Chief of Staff role:

Results (Becoming Chosen™) = Trust (Chief of You® = unique value + personality + insights with expertise + tech + services/products + operations) + AI relevance (online & LinkedIn).

If you are a budding or experienced Chief of Staff, and want to find out about the modern leadership playbook, join me at the upcoming free webinar on 19th August. Sign up on the link below and get your Findable Scorecard.

Bring your questions. We're holding time at the end for live Q&A, and you can also submit your question ahead in a DM.

Before you join, take the free Modern Leadership Chief of Staff Scorecard below. Six questions, two minutes, tells you exactly the value you'll get out of this session.

The Chief of Staff career insurance scorecard

Answer honestly. This takes two minutes and tells you exactly where you stand before we spend an hour in the webinar.

Rate yourself 1 to 5 on each line. 1 means "not at all", 5 means "yes, fully".

1. AI relevance and discoverability

If someone searched your Principal’s name on LinkedIn or through AI search today, would they find anything that shows what they actually do? ___ (1–5)

Do you understand how buyers and hiring managers are now using AI to find and vet people, before your leader or sales team even has a chance to talk? ___ (1–5)

2. Translating strategy into measurable results, for your principal

Can you point to a specific moment in the last 90 days where you translated your CEO's or principal's strategy into a result they could point to? ___ (1–5)

If you and your leadership team were each handed the microphone right now and asked how your work directly impacts company strategy, would everyone answer smoothly, or would some hesitate? ___ (1–5)

3. Chief of Staff leadership as career insurance

Have you shared, publicly, a result you delivered in the last 90 days, not just reported it internally? ___ (1–5)

If a recruiter looked at your LinkedIn, would they see evidence of how you get things done and what you think, or just a job title? ___ (1–5)

Add up your total: ___ / 30

What your score means

24–30: You're building career insurance. You have a good grip on the modern leadership skills for your role. Keep going. The webinar will sharpen this further.

13–23: You have a way to go. You're doing the work, but it isn't visible past the organisation. This is fixable, we’ll cover it on 19 August.

Below 13: You're your company's best kept secret. If your role ended tomorrow, your CV/resume and your name would be doing all the work alone. Come to the session.

This scorecard is part of the Chief of You® programme. See you on 19 August.
